We are very pleased to welcome the UNHCR participants and resource persons to Starum, Norway and to Oppland Civil District, for the Workshop on Emergency Management (WEM) from June 16th to June 25th 2010.
It is a pleasure for us here at the Traning Center at Starum to join and to serve the participants and staff during their stay here.

The participants
The participants will learn to maintain flexibility, to assess situations, to figure roles and responsibilities, to be open to suggestions, to listen, to maximize resources by planning, to establish leadership and work together as a team.
